LANDING: Welcome back!

Ohhh! So this is what my blog looks like? I haven't been on here for about two months so I began to forget.
But I'm here, and I'll be writing more interesting things soon. You have my word.
On a completely unrelated note, I just went driving around my neighbourhood and I've figured out it really makes me less nervous if I have my iPod playing as I'm driving. So if you tend to be an anxious driver and especially if you're just learning to drive (like me), try listening to some light background music, and maybe it'll help your nerves.
May I recomend The Academy Is... as you're cruising along. It worked for me.
Anyways...
I'll be back.

NOTHING: That's all folks.

I was trying to think of something awesome and creative to write about but I've had a terrible headache all day, and I think it's cutting off creative blood circulation or something.
So, sorry I have nothing good to say.
This is lame. I'm going to try and study or something.
Later peeps.

GREEN: Bringing you the love

My Valentine’s Day was super. One because it turned out much nicer than I expected.
Two because I got this CD:

This is seriously the greatest album I’ve ever listened to. I said that about City and Colour’s last record too, but this is possibly even better.
Every single song is so amazingly written and just. . . beautiful. I was really looking forward to this CD’s release, but listening to it even exceeds my expectations.
The tracks cover themes of love, death, and the philosophies of life that very much show the honesty in Dallas Green’s writing. The songs are comprised mainly of Dallas’s raw voice, over strumming acoustic guitars, harmonica, and tambourine.
My personal favourite track is The Girl.
This album is just. . . wow.
If you appreciate really good music, get it. Now.

“You don’t ask for no diamond rings, no delicate strings of pearls. That’s why I wrote this song to sing, my beautiful girl.” - The Girl by City and Colour
